Chief Minister of KP Approves Construction of an International Cricket Stadium in Kalam Valley

After the revival of international cricket in Pakistan, the Pakistani government is taking steps to support local cricket. Thus, the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan has approved an international stadium in beautiful Kalam valley. From this action, all the Pakistanis are very excited to see the arrival of international cricket in Kalam. Mahmood khan gave a massive gift to the people of his hometown Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. CM Mahmood khan has passed a 607 million budget for the construction of the stadium.

A few months ago, the director of sports in KP Asfand Yar Khan Khattak told the media that they were discussing an international stadium in KP with Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). He revealed that the stadium would have the following features included in it:

  • National Cricket Academy (NCA)-style training facilities
  • A swimming pool
  • Multi-purpose gymnasium for indoor games
  • Tartan track for athletics
  • Seven-star hotel facilities 

Moreover, the largest international stadium in Pakistan is under construction in Bahria Town, Karachi. Rafi cricket stadium will have a capacity of more than 50,000 spectators. It will also have a Five Star hotel for players. We are hoping that it will be open for international cricket in 2022.
