Fawad Chaudhry revealed that the Pakistani version of “Netflix” would launch soon

We all know that Netflix is a worldwide subscription broadcaster that displays web series and movies. Anyone who wants to watch the content on Netflix, he/she must have a subscription on Netflix. It has its production of series as well as it shows the web series of different countries.

Fawad Chaudhry, Federal Minister for Science and Technology, has revealed that his Ministry has prepared a Pakistani version of Netflix. The version is known as OTT (Over-the-Top) TV. Fawad Chaudhry shared a tweet this Friday in which he told the news of OTT. In his tweet, he said,” His Ministry of Science and Technology is all set to launch Pakistan’s first OTT television. The technology part is complete, but we have asked PEMRA to prepare a guideline on content.” He further added,” We will be all set to launch in PPP (Public-Private Partnership) mode.”

This platform will display the web series directly to the users via the internet. The format will pass-through cable, broadcast, and satellite TV Platforms. The users are very excited to watch the Pakistani version of Netflix. Some users say that PEMRA does not know creative content. They feel disappointed about this.

Moreover, the technology department is growing day by day in Pakistan. A few days ago, Pakistan launched electric bikes in Islamabad and Rawalpindi. Ministry of Science and technology is producing the new digital technology of Pakistan as China does. China mostly makes its applications for its people. In the future, we are hoping that Pakistan will also prepare its applications for its people.
