To cultivate a mental attitude that will bring you peace and  happiness, here are some rules

  1. Never try to get even with your enemies if you do you will hurt yourself far more than you hurt them. Let’s never waste a minute thinking about people you don’t like.
  2. Fight for your happiness by following a daily program of cheerful and constructive thinking.
  3. Think and act cheerfully, and you will feel cheerful. William James wrote ‘ the sovereign voluntary path to cheerfulness, if your cheerfulness be lost, is to sit up cheerfully and to act  and speak as if cheerfulness wewr already there’
  4. Don’t expect gratitude but find  happiness for the joy of giving.
  5. Count your blessings-not your troubles.
  6. Be original- Be real. Donot  imitae others, find yourself and be yourself.
  7. Donot capatalize  your gains, any fool can do that. When fate hands you a lemon, try to make a lemonade.
  8. Every day do a good deed that will put a smile of joy on someone’s face.
  9. Do the very best you can ; and then put up your old umbrella and  keep the rain of criticism from running down the back of your neck.
  10. Keep a record of the fool things you  have done and criticize yourself. Ask for unbiased,helpful,constructive criticism.
