UK MPhil Holder Tourist Teaches Children In Pakistan

Stephen David Sheen (commonly known as Steve) of U.K. teaches in a remote village in Sindh. He is an extraordinary person who left his home (Wales, U.K.) and teaches children in a village in Pakistan. He is MPhil in Physics from the University of Leeds, U.K. and while he visited Pakistan as a tourist in 2010, he came across a high school in Kot Diji, Sindh, called IRC (Indus Resource Centre) Faiz High School. He volunteered for a summer camp there and decided to never leave as he felt that his destiny was to empower the children there by teaching them. And guess what? He teaches them in their mother tongue. Yes, in Sindhi! He learned Sindhi by socializing with locals. In this picture, Steve can be seen moderating a cricket tourmament he organized for the kids. The school is currently being sponsored by Pakistan State Oil.
