=>The act of delaying or postponing a task or series of tasks is known as procrastination. So, if you call it procrastination, akrasia, or anything else, it is the factor that prohibits you from accomplishing what you set out for doing.
Procrastination is amongst the most significant obstacles to waking up, making the best decisions, and cherishing what you’ve expected.
The tragedy with procrastination is that we all agree it is detrimental. Who actually enjoys procrastinating? No one really wants to do so. Neither do I. Dianne Tice and Roy Baumeister’s widely cited research, written in the journal of the American Psychological Society, addresses the cost of procrastination. It is connected to:
->Depression
->Irrational assumptions
->Self-esteem considerations
->Anxiety & Stress
What you actually need is a job structure. Many citizens are afraid of patterns, structures, and processes because they want “democracy.” I’m sorry to disappoint you, but freedom is your adversary.
The truth is that laws are necessary if you want to get things done. All you need is internal motivation. That plays an important role.
To overcome procrastination follow the given steps:
1.Remember that you are procrastinating:
Fill your day with moderate tasks. Even if an item is necessary, leave it on your To-Do list for a long time. Emails could be read several times before making a recommendation about what to do with them.
2.Determine WHY You’re Procrastinating:
Before you may try to address your procrastination, you must first consider why you are doing so. For example, are you avoiding a specific job because it is tedious or irritating to you? If this is the case, take action to get it out of the way as soon as possible so that you can concentrate on the facets of your career that you love most. Procrastination may be caused by a lack of coordination.
3.Adopt Anti-Procrastination Techniques:
Concentrate on doing rather than resisting. Make a note of the items you need to do and set an opportunity to finish them. This will allow you to tackle your job more proactively. If you complete a difficult task on time, reward yourself with a treat.
Follow these steps to avoid procrastination guys its so helpful.
