A phobia is an irrational or extreme fear of an object, situation, or setting.
When exposed to a phobia, a person’s overwhelming feelings of anxiety may lead to a panic attack . phobias trigger an emotional response of anxiety, panic, and excessive fear. Some of the physical symptoms of a panic attack, which may be associated to a phobia, include the following :

  • Sense of impending doom or danger
  • Sweating.
  • Trembling or shaking.
  • Mysophobia

1-Sense of impending doom or danger

It’s important to briefly define and describe this symptom. A sense of impending doom is a feeling of knowing that something life-threatening or tragic is about to occur.

  • Feeling anxious, discouraged, restless, or uncertain (to an extreme)
  • Feeling that something bad or unusual is happening

It is not so surprising that people may have a sense of impending doom when faced with a life-threatening medical condition, even without conscious thought. We know that our bodies respond in many ways to stress without conscious deliberation. Finally, the intuition of physicians spanning the years from ancient Greece to the 21st century tells us that a sense of impending doom deserves to be heeded, at least until we know more.

2-Sweating

If you’re worried about sweating during your daily activities, this can cause you to give up and stay home. Plus, you might feel guilty about avoiding them. you could feel hopeless. It’s important to address and treat excessive sweating so that you can get back to the people and activities you love.

3-Trembling or shaking.

Many other factors or diseases can also cause tremors, including Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, fatigue after exercise, extreme emotional distress, brain tumors, some prescription drugs, metabolic problems, and alcohol or drug withdrawal.
Doctors don’t understand the true cause of essential tremor, but it’s thought that the unusual electrical brain activity that causes it is processed through the thalamus.

The Fear Of Public Speaking

Most of us have experienced some sort of fear when speaking in public at some time in our lives. However, a person with glossophobia is unable to control their nerves and has an extremely strong fear of public speaking, sometimes to the point of a nervous breakdown.
If you are able to, exercise before the presentation because this will use up some adrenaline. so here are some tips to reduce shaking when public speaking:

1-Slowly breathe in through your nose for 4 seconds
2-Next hold your breath for 4 seconds (if comfortable)
3-Breathe out through your mouth for 4 seconds
4-Hold your breath for 4 seconds
5-Repeat this process twice more

4-mysophobia


A person’s life can become controlled by their stress and anxiety related to their fear of germs. They worry about sitting, eating, and touching any surface. When people have mysophobia, their life is dictated by avoiding germs.

Remember: You are not alone , Deep-breathing , yoga and other relaxation technique can also prove helpful to people who suffer with mysophobia.
