The Expo Centre Karachi was filled with excitement as the Lux Style Awards for 2023 unfolded in all its glory. The event was a dazzling affair with charismatic hosts Saba Qamar, Fahad Mustafa, Ahmed Ali Butt and Durefishan Saleem. The night was a star-studded affair, with beloved celebrities receiving the prestigious silver statuettes. As always, the awards recognized outstanding achievements in fashion, television, music, and film, and feature big names on the red carpet. A special highlight of the evening was the presentation of the Youngest Lifetime Achievement Award to veteran star Rema Khan, after Saba’s heartfelt tribute. Additionally, Marina Khan was honored with the Lux Changemaker’s Award for her remarkable contributions.
Yumna Zaidi made history on Friday by winning two trophies at the LSAs, becoming the most-awarded actress in the LSA TV category. The red carpet was adorned with the presence of esteemed personalities such as Saba, Aima Baig, Fahad, Sanam Saeed, Mohib Mirza, Shae Gill, Sarwat Gilani, Farhan Saeed, Urwa Hocane, Yasir Hussain, Ali Xeeshan, filmmaker Nadeem Baig, Sarmad Khoosat, the Joyland team, Sunita Marshall, Hina Bayat Khwaja, Ali Zafar, Faisal Kapadia, and many others. The hosts for the night, Faizan Haque, Anoushey Ashraf, Saheefa Jabbar Khattak, and Mariyam Nafees engaged the attendees in lively conversations.
This year’s nominations recognized several fresh faces, and while industry veterans rightfully claimed awards in many categories, there were also notable victories for emerging talent. Winners at the LSAs.
