Cameron Smith Announces Retirement After COVID-Affected Year

Cameron Wayne Smith born in 18 June 1983 is a retired Australian professional rugby league footballer who played as a hooker, spending his entire career with the Melbourne Storm in the NRL. With a COVID-affected year and more premium success in retirement (2020–2021),The season was suspended indefinitely on March 23, 2020 due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
On October 25, 2020, Smith moved Storm to another NRL Premiership, scoring 14 points, including a 26220 grand final victory over the Perth Panthers. On March 10, 2021, Smith announced his retirement from the Professional Rugby League
