A tribute to martyrs of Army Public School (APS) on the Black Day

Black day is a very heart breaking incident in history of the Pakistan. 16^th December 2014, terrorist attacked on the Army Public School (APS) in Peshawar. It was the mid-morning, when the terrorist blasted their own vehicle to distract the school guards.

They entered in the assembly hall of the school. Hundreds of students and staff were there in the hall. The students were learning about the first aid. The terrorists began to shoot blindly. The attackers went to class rooms and they shot on the teachers and the students.

After some hours, commandos from Special Services Group (SSG) arrived there. They handled the situation but it was too late. Many little flowers had been killed. According to reports, about 150 students were killed and about 100 students injured in this attack. The attack was about to have lasted about eight hours.

This responsibility of this attack was claimed by Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). The leader of TTP has said that they did the attack because government attacked on his members. The most expected provocation was Operation Zarb-e-Azb, a government anti-militant offensive in North Waziristan, one of Pakistan’s tribal regions.
