35 new hotels to be constructed at tourists spots in Pakistan

Tourism is the main source of income for many countries. Pakistan has many attractive tourist spots. Pakistan can increase its economy through tourism.

In a Press Conference on Friday, the chairman of Pakistan Tourist Development Corporation (PTDC) Zulfiqar Bukhari has announced the construction of 35 new highly facilitated hotels on different tourist spots in Pakistan. According to him, the Federal government is completing all projects related to tourism facilities, and also now the government is willing to provide Five Star hotel for tourists in Chitral.

According to Chairman PTDC, foreign investment increased to 206 percent in Pakistan after the PTI government. Anwar Aman from the USA invested a considerable amount of money in the hotel industry in Pakistan. Recently, he invested a considerable amount to construct the “BeJaan” hotel. Zulfiqar Bukhari thanked Anwar Aman for his significant participation.

Bukhari said that the federal government has introduced a 10-year action plan for the tourism department. They have made Pakistan’s first-ever tourism policy. This policy will increase tourism in Pakistan and would give more chances to the local people to grow their businesses. Soon, Pakistan will compete with Malaysia and India in the tourism sector.

It is pertinent to note here that Prime Minister Imran Khan is expanding tourist activities, and he is monitoring the activities and developments regarding the progress.

A few days ago, the KP government had also announced the construction of a stadium in Kalam Valley. This stadium will also give a chance for locals to grow their businesses.
